Conventional vs. Modern Wall Screeding

Wall screeding is the process of creating a smooth and level surface on walls before painting or wallpapering. There are two main types of wall screeding methods: Conventional and modern.

Traditional wall screeding involves using a mixture of POP Paint, Bond and Cement (Either made from Lime stone or or Gymsum) to create a level surface. This method has been used for many years and is still popular today. However, it can be:

– time-consuming leading to waste

– susceptible to hair cracks

-could rise or peel off during raining season, and requires a lot of manual labor.

Modern wall screeding methods involve using already mixed ANTIFUNGI SCREEDING MATERIAL to further fortify and smoothen the wall surface. These compounds are designed to:

– prevent Algae growth

-Allow the wall to breath thereby minimize wall dampness

-reduce cost of painting and save cost on the long run.

Modern wall screeding methods are faster and more efficient than Conventional methods.
